WATCH THE 2020 INTERFAITH IFTAR CEREMONY
Please join the American Muslim & Multifaith Empowerment Council (AMWEC) and special guests at our annual interfaith iftar. The iftar is the evening meal in which Muslims end their daily fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
It is an opportunity to bring together people of all faiths and nationalities to celebrate in the spirit of peace, tolerance, and co-operation.
During our virtual event, you will hear directly from leaders across the political, spiritual, and cultural world- coming together for this special evening. And you'll hear from the women of AMWEC- which challenges bigotry by empowering Muslim women on the frontlines.
Inspired by their own journeys as immigrants who have prospered in America, they are proud American Muslim leaders who unite to strengthen their communities, confront bigotry in all its forms, celebrate culture heritage, and build enduring bonds with fellow Americans of all faiths.
